Turn one of your favorite summer drinks into a cool dessert using this delicious recipe for Strawberry Margarita Dessert. Instead of getting out a chilled glass and blender, get out a dessert plate and fork for this sweet treat. If you want to get that lavish bakery-look, it’s simple! Just slice additional strawberries and use to garnish the dessert just before serving. Since this is a frozen, no-bake dessert dish, cutting this into small squares can be a bit of a challenge. For easy cutting of frozen desserts, carefully run a sharp knife under hot water before cutting.

Smoked flavor meats are fantastic. Pair them up with sweet fruits such as cantaloupes or honey dew and they’re even better! You’re probably thinking, what an odd combination, but hey, remember that saying, “Never judge a book by its cover?” Same goes for these Melon-Ham Wrappers. Give it a try, and you might be surprised. The cream cheese between the meat slices and fruit will keep the wrappers in tact. You can even secure them neatly using toothpicks.

This season’s warm weather makes it the perfect time to host backyard barbecues. Don’t stress out just yet! With a lot of careful planning and preparation, hosting a backyard barbecue will be as cool as the summer’s night breeze.
You’ll want to make sure that your guests will have a good time. So good, that they’ll be eager to come back for your next backyard barbecue!
Start off with making a list of guests that will be attending and put together an appetizing menu with an array of selections that will appeal to everyone. Next, choose a theme for your backyard barbecue (hoedown, western, Hawaiian luau, etc.) and select appropriate decorations and party invitations.
Procrastination never did you good in school, the same goes for backyard barbecues. Do your shopping ahead of time. Be sure the star of the party– the grill– is ready to go with more than enough propane or charcoal.
Sending someone to the grocery store in the middle of your barbecue party is one of the worst things you can do, so plan ahead! Do your shopping the day before the big event and get everything you’ll need to make your barbecue a hit, instead of a miss. Keep in mind that the summer heat will dehydrate your guests, so purchasing an extra cooler or two to keep the drinks cool is a great idea.
Once you get home from the grocery store with all the goods, marinate your meats and place them in the appropriate baggies and containers in the refrigerator. Check out some of KRAFT’s grilling and marinating secrets here.
When the day of the barbecue comes, be sure to call your guests to confirm the time and the directions to your home. This would be a good time to decorate the patio and set up any sporting activities (volleyball, badminton net, ping pong table, etc.) and necessary items such as, chairs, tables coolers, and trash cans. Keep those pesky mosquitoes and other insects out of the way by lighting citronella candles near seating areas and tiki torches throughout the yard. It’s show time!
Greet your guests with a smile and try to keep everyone engaged and having a good time. Don’t spend the entire time stressing, just sit back and relax and enjoy your backyard barbecue!
Pizza time! Oops, that’s Strawberry Dessert Pizza time! Recharge your sweet sensory taste buds with this baked goodness. This time of year is one of my favorites because it’s strawberry season. Looking at all the store ads in the mail, I’ve noticed that most markets are having strawberry sales. I will take advantage of those sales and stock up, so I can deliver more of these sweet pizzas to my friends and family!
Prep Time:20 min Total Time:40 min Makes:12 servings

For me, the typical brown bag lunches consists of wraps and sandwiches or leftovers. Steal a bagel from your morning starter for your noontime dish. If you keep correlating bagels with breakfast, then you’re missing out. Bagels go great with the same things you would usually put on a sandwich, so try it out! Plus, PHILADELPHIA also makes a wide assortment of cream cheese flavors. Wrap this bagel up and place in your brown bag for a deli-like taste without all the hassle! Don’t forget to serve with your favorite fruit!
Eating frozen berries in the middle of a hot, summer afternoon is a charming treat. The frozen ready-to eat berry packages in the frozen food aisle are convenient and can be a great way to save over buying the fresh berries. Besides making smoothies with them or eating them straight out of the package, why not make a Frost Berry Blend? It’ll cool you off faster than a smoothie, and it also has that “berry” wonderful taste. The smooth taste of PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, milk and honey, works wonders for the tart berries. If you want to have your favorite summer fruits around for the next season, try freezing your favorite fruits at the height of the season for up to 3 months. Then, all you do is thaw and use in your favorite recipe!
