I was never a great gymnast. I couldn’t master the splits, for I was always afraid of pulling a muscle or making a fool of myself by ripping my pants. But one split that I love is a banana split! I remember enjoying a banana split on the patio of my favorite ice cream parlor when I was a child. Now, I can reinvent that memory by making a Banana Split Cake. If you’re watching what you eat, just prepare as directed, using PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, 1/3 Less Fat than Cream Cheese; JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Fat Free Sugar Free Instant Reduced Calorie Pudding & Pie Filling; and COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping.
Prep Time:15 min Total Time:5 hr 15 min Makes:24 servings, one piece each
MIX crumbs, 1/4 cup of the sugar and the butter; press firmly onto bottom of 13×9-inch pan. Freeze 10 min.
BEAT cream cheese and remaining 3/4 cup sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Spread carefully over crust; top with pineapple. Slice 4 of the bananas; arrange over pineapple.
POUR milk into medium bowl. Add dry pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until well blended. Gently stir in 1 cup of the whipped topping; spread over banana layer in pan. Top with remaining 1 cup whipped topping; sprinkle with pecans. Refrigerate 5 hours. Slice remaining 2 bananas just before serving; arrange over dessert. Store any leftover dessert in refrigerator.

This contest was so much fun! We got a lot of interesting and delicious recipes that I know we’ll be trying ourselves! It was so hard to narrow it down to the top recipe, but we tried anyway. Unfortunately we couldn’t, because the top two were just so great…. So we have a tie for first place!
Our first winner is Nicole from New York with her delicious Turtle Cheesecake. It has a Graham cracker crust and is topped with milk chocolate chips and caramel drizzle instead of the originally planned topping, white chocolate. Way to mix it up!
Our second first place winner comes from Kristen Elrod out of North Carolina with her Rocky Road on the GO GO GO!!! This recipe makes my mouth water every time I read it! In Kristen’s own words, “If you’re on the GO GO GO and need a delicious, quick and easy recipe this recipe is for you. It is sure to keep you smiling through all of life’s bumps and bends.” I couldn’t agree more Kristen! It has an Oreo cookie crust and is topped with chocolate chips, marshmallow candies, and chocolate almonds.
