Heading to a potluck or dinner party? Bring these Creamy Skillet Potatoes to the party instead of the traditional mashed potatoes. Combine the flavors of new or red potatoes and sweet potatoes for one unique side dish.
Ingredients
2 Tbsp. Olive oil
1 cup chopped green onions, divided
1 pkg. (6 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Smoked Ham, chopped
3 cups new or red potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (about 1 lb.)
3 cups Sweet potatoes, peeled, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (about 1 lb.)
2 cups Water
4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed
1/4 cup Milk
Instructions
HEAT oil in large skillet; add 1/2 cup of the onions and the ham. Cook 3 min. or until onions are softened.
ADD potatoes and water; bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium; cover. Cook 12 to 15 min. or until potatoes are fork tender. Remove from heat; drain.
PLACE cream cheese and milk in skillet on low heat; cook until melted and combined. Add potatoes; gently stir. Serve topped with remaining onions.
