by Debra Roberson, on March 10 2009 @ 3:28 pm
I used the Creamy Salsa Dip recipe you had on the LoveMyPhilly site and instead of using the Salsa, I added Rotel tomoatoes (petite diced) and blended with a hand mixer. I chilled the mixture and served as I would have with the hot cheese dip, but, didn’t have to worry about it getting cold and clumping together. The only thing I had to worry about was running out. It is fantastic! We love it!!!
by Marlene, on March 10 2009 @ 3:29 pm

Quick Chicken Enchiladas:2 cups chopped cooked chicken or turkey ( I use leftovers)
1 green pepper, chopped
1 package (8 ounces) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed
1 jar (8 ounces) salsa, divided
8 (6-inch) Flour Tortillas
3/4 lb. (12 ounces) VELVEETA Cheese , cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/4 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix chicken, green pepper, cream cheese and 1/2 cup of the salsa in saucepan; cook on low heat until cream cheese is melted, stirring occasionally.
Spoon 1/3 cup of the chicken mixture down center of each tortilla; roll up. Place, seam-sides down, in lightly greased 12×8-inch baking dish.

Any desert with cream cheese is likely very good. I am always interested in trying new dinner dishes (main dishes) that have cream cheese for an ingredient. Your dinner section has interesting recipes. Please consider adding main dishes that can be made with the crock pot. Last year, I came across one on the internet that is simple and so delicious. Cook the chicken in a crock pot with some Italian dressing mix and butter. An hour before serving, add to the crock pot a mixture of cream cheese, chicken soup, chicken broth, and onions. Wow! It is delicious. The sauce is so savory and the chicken is so tender.

my fave recipe for cream cheese is my pumpkin cream cheese dip which has been a huge fave with my coworkers who always ask me to bring it to food days. i add one package cream cheese softened to 2 cans of pumpkin pie filling with brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger. this makes a ton of dip enough for a very large fall party. its great with apple slices or graham crackers, or to spread on bagels in the morning.
by rebecca greene, on March 11 2009 @ 12:15 am

I love using Philadelphia cream cheese in stuffed chicken pockets. Using crescent roll dough, you stuff it with a mixture of chopped up cooked chicken, cream cheese and any seasoning you like (I prefer lemon pepper). You pop them in the oven on a cookie sheet at 375 or so for about 12 minutes until they are golden brown on top. Everyone likes these.

MY HUSBAND IS A CREAM CHEESE FANATIC!!! I ALWAYS ADD YOUR CREAM CHEESE TO MY BEEF STROGANOFF RECIPE, MY HOMEMADE PEACH COBBLER AND MY CHERRY CHEESECAKE. ADDITIONALLY, I PREPARE A DIP AROUND THE HOLIDAYS WHICH IS ALWAYS A BIG HIT. THE ONLY INGREDIENTS ARE PHILLY CREAM CHEESE, MILK AND DICED GREEN BELL PEPPER. THE DIP SEEMS TO GO BEST WITH FRITOES SCOOPS. MY GRANDMA ACTUALLY MADE THE DIP RECIPE UP YEARS AGO AND IT HAS BECOME A FAMILY TRADITION FOR US.

I use the Philly in one of my favorite recipies where you simply slice jalepeno peppers length ways, remove the seeds (or leave a few in for “bite”!) stiff with soft Philly, then wrap with a strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick. BBQ or bake in 350 oven. YUM! But they disappear rather quickly!

I like to make stuffed jalepanos with Philly cream cheese.
*First you fry your bacon, just a little you don’t want it to be crispy.
*Then you cut your fresh jalepanos in half and clean out the seeds.

My favorite is stuffed jalepanos. You fry your bacon just a little (you don’t want it to be crispy), cut the jalepanos in half and clean out the seeds, put the philly cream cheese in the jalepano halves, wrap the bacon around the jalepanos and secure with a toothpick. You will then bake them for an 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes. They are awesomely delicious.

I love the Savor Breakfast Fruity Bagel Breakfast.
It is yummy, filling, yet not so heavy on your tummy, that you feel like you ate a few bricks or so. Also it is healthy, starts your morning off right, and allows you to spend time with the family together.
