Great Philadelphia Cream Cheese Recipes

Olive And Cheese Spread

In a pinch you can use dried onion. Also, great with bacon flavored cheese instead of olive. Everyone enjoys this treat. To make enough for a crowd, prepare as directed doubling all ingredients. Makes 4 cups spread or 32 servings, 2 Tbsp. each.

Nutritional Information

1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 jar (5 oz.) KRAFT Olive and Pimento Spread
1 jar (5 oz.) KRAFT OLD ENGLISH Sharp Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread
2 Tbsp. green onion slices
RITZ Crackers

MIX cream cheese and spreads until well blended.

STIR in onions; cover.

REFRIGERATE several hours or until chilled. Serve with the crackers

I’ve been looking everywhere locally for the Kraft jars of cheese spread (specifically, Pimento and Olive-Pimento)that I need for a special cheeseball I make for the holidays. I’ve only found the Old English and Pineapple. Please advise where I can find these.

I too have trouble finding the Kraft Olive-Pimento cheese spread in the 5 oz jars. It seems to be more easily found around Christmas, but I would like it throughout the year. I’ve even tried to find a recipe for it using Kraft cream cheese, but have not had any luck with that either.

To show how desparate, I’ve asked the Managers at various local supermarkets to either carry it or order some for me. I guess they need to have a lot of people buy it so it becomes a profitable product.

    Good lluck in your quest.

I have been able to on occasion find these things for my husband at Kroger (at the end of the aisles) and I recently learned that they stock them well at Ingles. Not sure if you have any of these in Chattanooga as I am in Knoxville. Good luck.

Add me to the list of those who have recently been unable to find the Olive Pimento. I had been able to find it at three chains (Stater Brothers, Albertsons and the Vons larger stores) Starting about mid-March, I have been unable to find it at any of these chains. Since then, I have used Pimento Spread and have gotten used to it and will try Pineapple Spread, but I would still prefer Olive Pimento. Please answer these questions. (Yes. I know that a “No.” makes the following questions pointless.) Do you still make it? Is it still marketed in Southern California? Where can I get it now?
    Thank you,

Well, from what I can tell, you can still find it around, but if you can’t find it when you go out to the store, why not let it come to you? I found you can buy it online easily, like right here:

This is just one example (and the first that popped up) Hope that helps! :)

I, too, have been having difficulty finding Olive-
Pimento Spread. Over abundance of “Olde English”
and “Pineapple”. Sometimes the stores will have Pimento. We love as a snack on Ritz crackers, my
son likes it on celery. WHY don’t the stores carry
    the line?

I would like to purchase Kraft Olive Pimento Cheese spread. Is it available to purchase on-line? If you still make it, we should be able to purchase it but how and where?

I have been looking for Kraft Olive & Pimento Cheese Spread. It has been a favorite of mine and my family for over 50 years. I cannot find it in any of the local stores–HyVee and Wal-Mart. I hope you get enough people looking for it to continue to make it.
Nothing else tastes the same. :)
